Harun Farocki (b. 1944, Nový Jičín, Czechoslovakia) has directed over one hundred productions for television and the cinema including children’s television, documentary films, film essays, and narrative films, and participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in museums and galleries.
Hito Steyerl (b. 1966, Munich, Germany) has produced a variety of work as a filmmaker and author in the field of documentary filmography and post-colonial critique, both as a producer and a theorist.
