Three days of Struggle Festival in Vittorio Veneto

A festival whose name echoes “three days of darkness,”  the apocalyptic Catholic belief about our dear old planet being deprived of all sunlight and covered with mischievous demons before the end of times and shares with this tradition the penchant for  the truculent and for the cosmic. Three Days of Struggle with a rich line up that draws from the milieu of improvised,  noise and psychedelic electronics,  extending to experimental rock – Squadra Omega and Hiroshima Rocks Around – and the weird metal of Inquisition.  What makes this small festival really unique is that it is held in Vittorio Veneto, a town with less than 30,000 inhabitants near the Italian Alps. The line up includes, among others,  the American noise superstars Wolf Eyes, Enrico Malatesta, Dracula Lewis, Palm Wine, Lorenzo Senni and Niños Du Brasil. Check the Codalunga website for all the information for the weekend. (Francesco Tenaglia)
